Year 10 Mock Interview Day

In order to help prepare our students for their forthcoming work experience interviews, we will be holding our Year 10 Mock Interview Day this year on Friday 1st February, 2008.

We are very fortunate each year to have had approximately 30 people from Industry who voluntee to come into school to conduct the interviews. We hope these interviews will help our students develop their interview skills before they go out on work experience.

To help prepare for the day, the students will be asked to complete a CV and Application Form that the Industrialists will use to help them conduct the interview.

Although it is a normal school day, your child will be required to be out of their lesson for half an hour in order for their interview to take place.

The dress code for the whole day is to be smart, business dress as is fitting for an interview. Therefore no jeans or trainers are to be worn (there is no need for to go out and buy new clothes for this interview as their black school trousers/skirt with a shirt & tie or blouse would suffice).
