
The BTEC Employability qualification gives students:
- education and training to develop the skills needed for employment
- opportunities to achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification
- the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to enter employment in a wide range of vocational sectors
- opportunities to focus on the development of the major key skills and
the wider key skills in an employment context, such as improving own learning and performance, workingwith others and problem solving
- opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life.
Learners cover five units over the course of the year:
