Recovery Premium 2024

The school is in receipt of two funding streams, the recovery premium and the school-led tuition fund. At Appleton we recognise that for students to be academically successful it is important that we also support the student emotionally. Students that are happy and confident will ultimately be more successful in their academic studies. We have used the recovery premium to support academic progress with mentoring and tuition but we have also used the funding to support extra counselling sessions and extra support in the pastoral system.
