TEACHER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WITH BENFLEET TSA
The Appleton School, in partnership with The Benfleet TSA has an excellent reputation for Teacher Training. In the last 10 years we have trained over 250 primary/secondary teachers who are now working in our local schools.
We work in partnership with TES Institute through the school direct route. The Alliance has over 50 schools in Benfleet, Rayleigh, Canvey, Basildon, Leigh on Sea, Westcliff, Hockley, Rochford, Southend, Wickford and Shoeburyness.
The following Initial Teacher Training opportunities are available starting from September 2026:

Applicants must have a relevant degree, 2:2 or above and English and Mathematics GCSE at C/4 or above. Primary also require GCSE Science.
Bursaries information will be available in October 2025.
