The Appleton School prides itself of a very active and engaging house system whereby all lower key stage 3 (Year 7, 8 and 9) and all staff are assigned to one of the four houses. Each academic year Houses will be grown with a new cohort of students. The house names have been selected by the students and are named after famous historical Britons that have been acknowledge for their contributions and achievement in their lifetimes. Each student’s achievements are acknowledged and celebrated due to their successes in participation in excellent effort, homework, extra-curricular activities and from interhouse competition. All achievement will help the overall total house points.
